Coast Guard, Shore/Boat Station Trainings in MA and RTI
These trainings are for any cadet interested in Coast Guard operations at a motor lifeboat station. Cadets will be fully integrated into the Coast Guard crew. They will be issued gear and get underway with boat crews for training (damage control, firefighting, tow operations, first aid, overboard drills, helicopter operations, night operations, etc.) and, perhaps in some cases, Search and Rescue. They will spend time with the watchstander to review navigation, resource dispatch, and maintain unit logs. They will also get hands-on experience with boat maintenance, station clean-ups, and morale.
