WHat is sea cadets?

The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a leadership development nonprofit that equips young people with skills, knowledge, and confidence through an amazing variety of training opportunities.  Sea Cadets are young men and women, aged 10 to 18, who wear uniforms, work as teams in a disciplined environment, and adhere to core values of honor, respect, commitment, and service.  The program teaches how to lead groups of their peers successfully and inspires them to become leaders in their schools and communities.  By embarking on this path of lifelong leadership, they will develop skills in organization, basic seamanship, courage, self-reliance and military discipline.
